Description
Inspired by Prince Albert – who took an active interest in the arts – they epitomise traditional British craft at its best. They’re fired using a translucent glaze that puddles and pools over the surface, giving a rich and opulent shade when they leave the kiln.
Albert’s Peacock Blue pays homage to the Victorians’ love of Persian blue pottery and tiles, examples of which can be found in the V&A museum archives.
